The Prologue Shredder is a Monster in CrossCode. They can be encountered in Old Hideout.

Appearance

The Prologue Shredder is a metal robot resembling a humanoid upper torso and head, with orange energy rings replacing its legs and allowing it to float. It is made of dark grey metal with purple highlights, and is physically identical to the Shredder; they are distinguished only by their behavior and stats.

Combat

The Prologue Shredder follows the player closely while waiting for an opening. When attacking, it quickly dashes towards the player, lifts its fist while flashing red and, after a short moment, delivers a punch. The attack sequence is vulnerable to being disrupted while it is flashing red.

Strategies

The Prologue Shredders encountered in the Old Hideout require no special strategy to defeat, due to Shizuka's substantially higher level at the time.
